Peak Health offers a variety of services, from one-on-one personal training, sports medicine, or medical massage to energy therapies such as CranioSacral Therapy and Reiki.
In addition, massage parties and/or chair massage can be used for specific events or as business incentives or gifts for staff.
In many instances, worker's compensation and auto accident cases may be billed. Please feel free to call and ask how to qualify.

What is Medical Massage?
Medical Massage is the application of physical medicine by a massage therapist. This treatment is different from Wellness Massage, in that it involves a referral from a physician, it includes an evaluation, a plan of care and it utilizes insurance billing.
Medical massage therapy is an outcome-based treatment rather than a routine- based treatment using manual therapy techniques such as neuromuscular re-education and therapeutic stretching. Currently in New Hampshire, Worker's Compensation and auto insurance companies are authorized to be billed for this service.
What Is CranioSacral Therapy?
This is a gentle, noninvasive hands-on method of using myofascial release techniques for evaluating and enhancing the body's natural healing process. The therapies seldom use more than 5 grams of pressure, (about the weight of a nickel) and it is used to improve the operation of the central nervous system, dissipate the negative effects of stress and strengthen the resistance to disease.

What Is Athletic Training?
A certification from the National Athletic Trainer's Association Board of Certification (N.A. T. A.) in Sports Medicine qualifies me to help you in the areas of injury prevention, evaluation and later stage treatment of athletic injuries. By combining these skills, I am equipped to help you and your training and/or recovery program take on a new dimension of exercise that will promote a functional and injury-free lifestyle. Areas of interest are (but not limited to):
- Lower Back Pain
- Shoulder and Upper Arm
- Hamstring Injuries
- General Knee Rehabilitation
- Foot, Ankle & Lower Leg Pain

What is Reiki?
Reiki is a Japanese method used for stress reduction and relaxation that promotes healing. It is administered by either gently laying hands on the client or keeping them 3-5 cm above the body. Techniques such as this have been used for thousands of years. Reiki treatments which involve an energetic attunement, Chakra balancing and a table treatment are available as well as classes in each level of Reiki through Peak Health.

About Karen
Karen S. Bradley, A.T.C., L.M.T. is a 1997 graduate of the University of New Hampshire where she earned a B.S. in Kinesiology, and a national certification in sports medicine. After working as the Assistant Athletic Trainer at Londonderry High School in southern N.H. she acquired additional training and graduated from Full Circle School of Alternative Therapies in Edwards, CO in 2000 as a Licensed Massage Therapist.
Karen has completed five levels of training in Traditional Usui and Usui-Tibetan Reiki and has been a qualified teacher in this since 1999. After spending five years in Colorado operating Peak Health, Karen and her family are happy to be "home" in New Hampshire to enjoy family and friends.
