In 2006, OSMOSIS was able to contribute 16% of its gross sales to local charities-"Dorothy's Gift", the DreamCenter of Berlin NH, WREN (Women's Rural Entrepreneurial Network), United Way of Northern NH, Northern Human Services, Microcredit New Hampshire and more.

Our for-profit business model is built upon the philanthropic viewpoint that “like begets like,” and “as we give, so shall we receive.” It is with a desire to help bring awareness to these non-profit entities and to help them thrive that Osmosis was created. Just know that even though we are a service micro-enterprise, we know that anyone can make a difference in people’s lives…that every little bit helps. We base our success on that concept.

During its three years of entrepreneurship, guided by MicrocreditNH and Valley Ventures Microcredit Group, OSMOSIS has somehow evolved into a “connection corner” of sorts as people come for their sessions. We find that many of our clientele happen to be other entrepreneurs. As we delve into what each other’s business attributes are and the benefits they offer, we discover the gems that reside in our community—and we want to let people know about them! Before we knew it, we’ve slowly transformed into a growing networking spot. Osmosis is happy to help promote fellow businesses through discussions with other clients. As a result, sometimes we find a match to the requests of our clients.

These small businesses range from website design, exterior and interior painting, home inspections, healthy eating, medical massage, personal training and skin care, embroidery designing and sewing machine repair, carpentry and even an framing shop/art gallery. We all share the same goals-to help our customers find solutions to their problems. The list grows every week!
